Harvest Profiles: @Sutto.Farm 🇮🇹✨️🍂

Next up ➡️ Sutto's 2026 harvest that happened mostly after dark despite these lovely photos! 🔦

⏰ An early vintage. Picking started August 10 in Polje, about 10 days ahead of usual

🍇 Healthy grapes with outstanding quality and good, fresh acidity

🥂 Prosecco volumes match 2025, while Pinot Grigio came in a little lighter

When we asked the team to name the vintage's soundtrack, they had a good laugh and then agreed on "Nightshift" by The Commodores 🎶

"With the extreme daytime heat, our team practically lived in the vineyards at night. It was exhausting, but working the night shift is exactly what saved the grapes and delivered such incredible quality!" 🌙✂️🍇🙌

Thanks @Sutto.Farm team for this honest and fun insight into Harvest 2026! 💪

🚢 Good news, Ontario: Sutto Brut Prosecco and Sutto Pinot Grigio are first to arrive and currently on their way to you! 🇨🇦

The most rewarding days are the ones when our partners are in town. Seeing them in-person, talking biz or about our families, travels, making plans, enjoying dinners, tastings, meetings, watching fellow trade experience their wines for the first time and being present as they reconnect with old friends... all in 48 hours = true teamwork and joy! 💪✨️

Welcome back 🇨🇱 @rpenafielg + 🍷 four @vinaelprincipal brands + 🏙️ two days across downtown Toronto = one unforgettable week for us! 🙏

Huge thanks to the @jacobssteakhouse team and Felipe for their incredible hospitality that turned our dinner on Tuesday into a family table. ¡Salud! 🥂🥩

Until next time! ❤️

🍇 HARVEST PROFILES 2026 | Kavaklıdere 🇹🇷🇫🇷
One family, two countries, and two completely opposite vintages. 🌍

We continue with @kavakliderewines that has been making wine in Turkey since 1929, and since 2016 the family has also farmed in Bordeaux under @maisonkavaklidere.

@aslibasman shares how 2026 went in both regions 👇

🇹🇷 In Turkey, the harvest came later than 2025, and Asli says these dates are "what it should be, if there wasn't the global warming effects and the hot weather." Picking began with Muscat in the Aegean, by night 🌙, and it's still going in some regions until November.

✨ "It's a perfect year mostly for international varieties in our Pendore Vineyard such as Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, as they prefer less hot climate."

🌧️ The challenge was rain, which meant careful hand harvesting and sorting in the vineyard and again in the winery.

🇫🇷 In Bordeaux, it was the opposite story: "the earliest harvest in the region's history and the hottest year since 1893." 🔥 Picking started in the first week of September and wrapped in a single week. Yields are down, but Asli says "the sanitary conditions are good."

🍷 "The quality of Merlot was perfect" and the Cabernet Franc was "very silky and saline."

Teşekkürler and merci, Asli and the Kavaklıdere family! 🧡 We are proud to represent your family history and unique story spanning two geographies under one sky. 🌅

🍇 HARVEST PROFILES 2026 | Pinord, Penedès 🇪🇸

Let's travel to Spain, home to @pinordwinery and +&+ Cava. After years of drought, Penedès received much needed precipitation 🌧️ and Pinord's team reports that rain over winter and spring refilled the soils, while a warm summer brought picking forward, and the fruit came in healthy and full of promise! 🙌

In their words: "Overall, the 2026 vintage represents a very positive step forward for the Penedès, both in terms of vineyard recovery and the quality prospects for our wines and Cavas." 💛

And for anyone who loves bubbles, the classic Cava trio of Xarel·lo, Macabeo and Parellada is showing "excellent potential for producing both still wines and high-quality Cavas." 🫧

🚢 The news: Pinord's +&+ Brut Cava that delighted guests at both our tasting events in July and September is en route to Ontario, arriving for the New Year! 🎉

✨ 60% Xarel·lo, 30% Macabeu, 10% Parellada
✨ Traditional method, about 15 months on lees
✨ Green apple, citrus, orange blossom and a saline, Mediterranean finish 🌊

Trade & private clients: DM us to reserve and celebrate the start to 2027! 🍾🎉
